// WHY BUY FROM US
Why Our Cables and Chargers Are Different
We have seen what cheap chargers do to phones. We only stock products that work properly and last.
Certified Safe
All our chargers include overvoltage protection, temperature regulation, and short-circuit prevention. Cheap chargers from questionable sources can damage your battery or pose a fire risk. Ours are properly certified.
Right Speed, Right Fit
We match the correct cable and charger to your phone so you get maximum charging speed. No point using a 5W plug when your phone handles 20W. And no point paying for 65W when your phone maxes out at 25W.
Every Length
We stock cables in 1 metre, 2 metre, and 3 metre lengths. Short for travel, long for the bedside. We will recommend what suits your setup.

Why Cheap Cables Can Cost You More
We see the damage caused by cheap, unbranded chargers and cables every week. A customer comes in with a phone that will not charge. And when we look at the charging port, the pins are corroded or bent from a poorly-made cable that did not fit properly. Or the battery has degraded prematurely because a dodgy charger was pumping inconsistent voltage into it for months.
A quality cable costs a few pounds more than a market stall knockoff. But it lasts longer, charges faster, and does not risk damaging the very device it is supposed to be powering. The braided cables we sell are built with reinforced stress points at the connector ends. The exact spot where cheap cables always fray and break.
Wireless Charging. Simple and Cable-Free
Wireless charging means no cables, no wear on your charging port, and no fumbling in the dark to plug in your phone at bedtime. Just set your phone down on the pad and it starts charging. We carry Qi wireless charging pads that work with every wirelessly-enabled phone. IPhone 8 and later, Samsung Galaxy S6 and later, Google Pixel 5 and later, and many other models. Our pads support fast wireless charging for phones that can handle it.
We also stock MagSafe-compatible wireless chargers for iPhone 12 and later. The magnetic alignment means your phone locks into the perfect position every time. No more waking up to discover your phone slid slightly off the pad overnight and did not charge at all.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which cable does my phone need?
If you are not sure, just pop in or call us on 01334 478866 and tell us your phone model. In general: iPhones up to iPhone 14 use Lightning, iPhone 15 and later use USB-C, and virtually all Android phones from the last few years use USB-C. Older Android phones and some budget devices use Micro USB.
My phone charges really slowly. Is it the cable or the phone?
It could be either. A damaged or low-quality cable can throttle your charging speed dramatically. Equally, a clogged or faulty charging port on the phone itself can cause slow charging. Try one of our cables in-store. If it charges normally, the old cable was the problem. If it is still slow, the port may need cleaning or repair. We can inspect and repair charging ports on the spot.
Do you sell the wall plug as well, or just the cable?
Both. We sell cables on their own and wall plugs on their own, so you only buy what you actually need. Need a complete set? We will sort you out with a cable and a matching fast-charge plug. Need just a cable because your plug is fine? No problem. We will not try to sell you things you do not need.
Can I use a USB-C cable for my laptop and my phone?
In many cases, yes. USB-C is a universal standard, so a good USB-C cable will work for your phone, tablet, Nintendo Switch, and some laptops. However, laptop charging usually requires a higher-wattage cable and charger than phone charging. If you need a cable that does double duty, let us know and we will make sure you get one rated for the job.
Do you sell MagSafe chargers for iPhone?
Yes. We stock MagSafe-compatible wireless chargers for iPhone 12 and later. The magnetic alignment means your phone locks into the perfect charging position every time. No more waking up to find your phone slid off the pad overnight and did not charge.
Can I use a fast charger with an older iPhone?
iPhone 8 and later support fast charging with a 20W or higher USB-C charger and a USB-C to Lightning cable. Older iPhones will still charge with a fast charger. They just will not charge any faster than their maximum supported speed. The charger will not damage them.
How long should a phone cable last?
A quality braided cable should last one to two years with daily use. If you are going through cables every few months, you are probably buying cheap ones. Our braided cables have reinforced stress points at the connector ends. The exact spot where cheap cables always fray and break.
