Turnaround Time
Most computer repairs are completed within one to three working days. Common jobs like laptop screen replacements, battery swaps, and virus removal are often finished the same day, especially if we have the parts in stock. More complex work, such as logic board micro-soldering, liquid damage recovery, or data retrieval from failed drives, typically takes two to three working days.
If your computer is your only device and you need it back urgently, let us know when you drop it off. We always try to prioritise urgent repairs. Walk-ins are welcome during our opening hours: Monday to Friday 09:30 to 17:30, Saturday 10:00 to 17:00. No appointment needed, though you can also book online or call ahead on 01334 478866 if you want to check we have the right parts ready.

MacBook repairs cost more than equivalent Windows laptop repairs because Apple parts are pricier to source. Logic board repairs involving micro-soldering sit at the higher end because of the specialist skill required.
What we can promise is that our prices are significantly lower than manufacturer repair pricing. Bring your device to 1 City Rd and we will give you an honest quote before any work begins. The price we quote includes parts, labour, and full post-repair testing. Nothing gets added afterwards.
