The MacBook Pro Retina 13-inch Early 2015 (A1502) is the final generation of the classic 13-inch Retina design before Apple transitioned to the Touch Bar models. It features 5th-generation Intel Broadwell dual-core processors - either a Core i5 at 2.7GHz or 2.9GHz - with 8GB of 1866MHz LPDDR3 RAM and Intel Iris Graphics 6100. The 13.3-inch Retina display delivers a crisp 2560x1600 resolution at 227 pixels per inch. Storage options include 128GB, 256GB or 512GB PCIe-based flash storage. This model introduced the Force Touch trackpad with haptic feedback and pressure sensitivity. Common repair issues include trackpad click mechanism failures, anti-reflective coating peeling from the display, battery degradation causing reduced runtime or swelling, SSD failures and keyboard key mechanisms wearing out.
