About MacBook Pro 15″ (2018) Repair
The MacBook Pro 15-inch (2018), released in July 2018, introduced 8th-generation Coffee Lake Intel processors to the MacBook Pro line with a 6-core i7 at 2.2GHz or 2.6GHz and optional 6-core i9 at 2.9GHz. It was the first MacBook Pro with the T2 security chip, enabling Hey Siri, hardware-accelerated HEVC encoding, and enhanced security features. It features AMD Radeon Pro 555X or 560X graphics, up to 32GB DDR4 RAM, and up to 4TB SSD. The 15.4-inch Retina display delivers 2880x1800 resolution with True Tone technology. This was the first MacBook Pro generation with True Tone on the built-in display. It includes the Touch Bar, Touch ID, and four Thunderbolt 3 ports. Available in Space Grey and Silver.
