About MacBook Pro 14″ M1 Pro / M1 Max Repair
The MacBook Pro 14-inch with M1 Pro and M1 Max chips, released in October 2021, marked a dramatic redesign of the MacBook Pro line. It introduced the 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR display with 3024x1964 resolution, ProMotion 120Hz, and the notch housing a 1080p FaceTime HD camera. The M1 Pro offers an 8-core or 10-core CPU with up to 16-core GPU and up to 32GB unified memory, while the M1 Max provides a 10-core CPU with up to 32-core GPU and up to 64GB memory. Apple brought back MagSafe charging, an HDMI port, and an SDXC card slot alongside three Thunderbolt 4 ports. The Touch Bar was replaced with a full row of physical function keys.
