I need to connect my laptop to a TV. Which cable do I need?
For most TVs, you need an HDMI cable. If your laptop has a full-size HDMI port, a standard HDMI cable is all you need. If your laptop only has USB-C ports (like a MacBook), you will need a USB-C to HDMI adapter or cable. Bring your laptop in or tell us the model and we will get you set up in seconds.
My MacBook only has USB-C ports. How do I plug in my USB devices?
You need a USB-C to USB-A adapter (for a single device) or a USB-C hub (for multiple devices). A hub is the better investment. For a little more money, you get multiple USB-A ports plus HDMI, SD card, and often ethernet all in one compact device. We stock both adapters and hubs, and we will help you pick the right one.
What length HDMI cable do I need?
It depends on your setup. For a desk where the laptop sits next to the monitor, 1-2 metres is fine. For connecting a laptop to a TV across the room, 3-5 metres is more practical. HDMI can run up to about 15 metres before you start losing signal quality. If you are not sure, measure the distance and add a bit of slack. It is better to have a slightly longer cable than one that is stretched tight.
Do you sell wireless mice and keyboards?
Yes, we stock both wired and wireless options. Wireless mice typically use either a small USB dongle (which plugs into a USB-A port) or Bluetooth (no dongle needed). We carry both types. Do you sell Thunderbolt cables?
Yes. USB-C and Thunderbolt use the same physical connector, but Thunderbolt cables support faster data transfer speeds and can drive higher-resolution displays. If you need a Thunderbolt cable for your MacBook or other Thunderbolt-equipped laptop, we stock them. Bring your laptop in and we will confirm which cable you need.

Do you sell HDMI cables that support 4K?
